Mule Foot & blond Mangalica breeds are both known for their rich flavor, tender texture, and high-quality fat, which contributes to its flavor and tenderness. The Mangalica breed originated in Hungary in the 1830s and the Mulefoot pigs are a relatively rare breed, which contributes to the demand for their meat. We spoil our girls with adding fresh bananas and carrots, to their non GMO, non soy and non corn diets, they send their days grazing in the grassy fields. In short, they are fed a diverse, healthy diet and lead an active lifestyle that translates into the most delicious pork you’ve ever tasted!
Their meat has beautiful fat marbling and incredible flavor that is nothing like typical grocery store pork. Mule Foot & blond Mangalica meat is a high quality pork, high in Omega-3 fatty acids and low in saturated fat.
Dexter cows are a small Irish breed. 2/3 the size of a Hereford, naturally tender, high in Omega 3 and 6, good marbling and big in flavor. Mini Herefords are a compact version of the classic. The breed has a good marble score with a quality as high as the Angus. Our cows diet is filled with fresh field grass, mixed grains, beet mix and treats of fresh summer greens and fall squash.
We have many varieties of egg-layer chickens. They lay eggs from various shades of white, blue, green and brown. Most eggs are medium to large size.
